The National College for Education, in collaboration with Digital Power Media, organized a scientific conference titled "The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Early Childhood Education" with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Preschool Education Department. The conference brought together over 850 delegates from across the country, including high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of departments of education, universities, teacher training colleges, and representatives from numerous preschools nationwide.

The Conference featured presentations and discussions on AI from experts, as well as insights from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Bá Minh, Head of the Preschool Education Department at the Ministry of Education and Training. Dr. Minh emphasized that while AI is a valuable tool, it cannot replace the human touch in early childhood education. Teachers will continue to play a central role in nurturing young children's minds and hearts.

Dr. Kim Mạnh Tuấn, from the Faculty of Education at Hanoi National University, presented a vision for the future of early childhood education, envisioning classrooms where children interact with intelligent robots, play educational games on touchscreens, and receive guidance from virtual assistants. However, he stressed that teachers will still be essential in guiding children's exploration and learning effectively and safely.

2. The Integration of AI technologies and robot in early childhood education: A study from South Korea and the possibilities of implementation in Vietnam

A study conducted in South Korea on the use of robots in cancer treatment for children revealed surprising results. The study found that interacting with robots not only helped children with cancer stabilize their emotions but also brought them joy and relaxation. Additionally, robots were equipped with educational content about diseases and life skills, helping children understand their health conditions and cope with treatment.

The study highlighted the potential of robot technology in improving the quality of life for children with serious illnesses and emphasized the importance of mental health care for these children.
